Finally!!! Its out!!

Noahs tooth has been hanging by a thread for 2 weeks! He was so nervous to pull it out. He thought it would hurt (although his other three teeth didn't) and he thought he was going to look sooo silly having his 2 front teeth gone! Little did he know how silly he looked having that tooth barely hang in there, it started to point sideways.

I saw him playing with it today and noticed how loose it really was and told him it was coming out today, I was able to see the new tooth coming in. So I wiggled it for awhile, Ciaara wiggled it for awhile and Noah finally decided to try and he got it out!! He was sooooo proud of himself!
We danced around and I went and brought him for ice cream (please excuse the ice cream on his face lol)

I think he looks sooo cute and sooooo grown up!

Layouts!!! I'd love to say I've been a scrapping fool, but I haven't. I haven't been scrapping much, just haven't had the mojo or the time really. This layout of Noah I did on Sunday but the other two are a couple weeks old.

Nates dad is coming here this weekend, we can't wait to see him! We are taking him with us to the Twins game on Saturday. We get to go on the field before the game to view batting practice. The kids hope we can meet some players and get autographs! It should be a good time.

America Idol Concert

Wow, what a fun time we had at the American Idol concert! They were all great and put on a GREAT show!! The kids had a blast, they were so excited when it started, they jumped right up and starting singing and dancing! Noah sang along to most of the songs and Ciaara was up dancing for alot of the concert. It was 3 hours long and I can't believe how well the kids behaved. It was a blast!

The bad news: Some of my pictures were gone off my memory camera when I got home. I try a recovery program and ended up getting some of them back but not them all :( Here are some them....................

This week is flying right by! It has been soooo hot, in the 90's all week. Argh! I try and not complain abou the warm weather because it is sooo much better then winter but its almost getting unbearable. The kids have spring fever and want to get outside but its just not good for them when its this hot!

Nate and one of his friends got our memorial trees planted, they look great! We explained to the kids why we planted memorial trees and they both were happy with that and said now Grandma can always be close. Ciaara helped Daddy plant the trees, Noah wouldn't even come outside to get a picture, he said it was to hot out!

Saturday we have tickets to go to the American Idol concert in the cities. This year was not one of my favorite years of Idol, but I think it would be a great time to take the kids to their first concert.

Our first week back home was okay. We are all adjusting to our loss and trying to figure out how our lives will change, we all know they will. We are turning to God because we know our lives are in his hands and want to have better relationship with him. Nate and I both believe in God, and teach the kids about God and Jesus and do many Sunday school lessons with them. We just haven't found a church here that feels like home to us..... there really isn't many options in our small town. But we are trying now, we are going to visit a church this week and we are sending the kids to Vacation Bible School there starting August 6th.

Nate and I also celebrated our 8th annivesary last Tuesday (the 24th). 8 years in unbelievable to me, it seems like just yesterday I was planning the wedding. Seems like just yesterday he proposed to me. Time really does fly!

Last night my friend Sara invited me to come down to the cities and meet up with her and La for lunch and a little scrapbook shopping. Nate was planning on just lounging around to watch the race so I decided to go. It was great hanging out and chatting and just having girl time! Thanks girls for a wonderful day! Here are my goodies:
I am still addicted to stamps and just can't stop buying them! I justify it by knowing that they will never go bad or out of style! :)

Hi all!! I've been meaning to share some pictures of the 4th of July. We had a wonderful day! My parents were down visiting, (we also had some friends over)we spent the day outside (the kids were in the pool for 5 hours!!). We played badmitton, washers and had a BBQ! Later on we did some fireworks in the back yard, they were GREAT!! Here is some pictures:

The other exciting thing that happened that day is Noah lost his front top tooth! It was sooo funny!! He bit in to his hamburger and hollered out to me "Mom, you have to check my tooth I think its out!!" There was alot of people here and he was kind of scared but acted really tough, I brought him in the bathroom and it was out with one little tug. He was sooo brave! I smile everytime I look at him, he looks so grown up with his missing tooth. The tooth fairy left her glitter trail and 2 bucks, he was thrilled!

Boy Layouts!!

I often struggle with boy layouts, they are harder for me, mostly because I love the pink, frilly girlie type of stuff. Noah doesn't even like me to put one flower on his layouts, even though I squeezed one in on one of these.
I am happy to be catching up on some of Noahs layouts, I had alot of pictures sitting here of him.

We have our last Tball game tonight, and of course there is a chance of rain. Besides that summer school is rolling right along, Noah started swimming lessons, Nate is trying to take a week off in July FINALLY!! He hasn't had a vacation in a year.

Happy Tuesday!! First off here are a couple of my latest layouts. I love this one of Ciaara blowing bubbles I just love the pictures! This one of Noah I did for a Freaky Friday Challenge on Scrapfreak! We had to use an arrow for the challenge. Noah is too funny and has the same smile in almost every picture I take of him lol

This weekend was a fun one, I had my share of ups and downs from spilling a drink all over the table and falling flat on my back at the Metrodome (yes I only had one drink) to winning 4 tickets to a Twins game AND we get to go on the field to see the players take batting practice.

I guess it was worth it! The kids got their faces painted, they were thrilled!

Summer school has been taking its toll and we are all tired around here, the kids are having a harder time waking up (so am I) and they are taking their sweet time in the morning to eat breakfast and get dressed its amazing we got out of the house on time today. Its also so hard for them to go to bed at a decent hour when its still light out. Its supossed to be summer time for sleeping in and relaxing!!!! They aren't ready to give up yet though, playing with their friends is too important and Noah starts swimming lessons next week.

Fathers day was laid back around our house, we gave Nate his gifts (I still need to photo the album I made him) He wanted to watch the Nascar race and wanted pizza for supper. I took Ciaara with me and Nate and Noah jumped in the kiddie pool. After the kids went to bed Nate and I watched a movie together, Catch and Release. It was the movie he got me for Mother's Day. It was a good day.

I admit it, I'm a BAD blogger! lol I've had some busy days around here with school being out I have 2 people to entertain! We had a wonderful weekend, we were invited to a friends cabin on Saturday and we had such a wonderful time. Their son was in Noahs class (thats how we met) and thier daughter is 4 years old and the kids have had a few playdates together. It was such a great time, the weather was perfect, about 80 degrees and a little windy to kept the bugs away!
The kids went swimming and got to go tubing for the first time, it was SOOO much fun!!

I am been scrapping up a storm!! I'm so happy to be out of my rut-I love it when the ideas just come to you and the pages come together so easy! I'll leave you with one of my favorite layouts I just did a couple days ago.... and I'll try to be better about blogging!

Only 2 more days of school left for Noah, I can't believe it!! Today was crazy hair day at school, Noah got to pick out his hair color and couldn't wait to have his hair colored. He looked so cute! Noah gets to be the line leader on the last day of school and I told him he should dance his class out of Kindergarten but he says he is to shy to do that! lol One of the Freaky Friday Challenges at ScrapFreak was to Lift the Boss! I picked this layout from Monica and did a lift.. I love how this layout turned out!! This layout I did for fun, Ciaara doesn't like it all because she doesn't like the picture!

She was soo mad when I took the picture and super mad that I scrapped it.

This week is a little less crazy with soccer being done. Ciaara is adjusting to being home with me I think she likes school better! Yesterday we scrapped together, today we played games and I still got the big old "Mommy, I'm bored" argh I don't look foward to that all summer.

I hope to do some more scrapping tomorrow--Happy Tuesday! :D

FINALLY a couple of layouts!! I've been having MAJOR scrappers block :( I struggled hard with creating both of these. I don't know whats wrong with me, I've never had my mojo blocked this bad! Hopefully I'm finding my way back to a normal scrap schedule.

The kids had their last soccer game tonight, it was soooo cute when they got their medals--they are soo proud of themselves! I am proud of both of them for playing and proud of my hubby Nate for taking the time to coach them! Ciaara was down a little that the only people that watched her this year (besides us) were Nates parents, and mentioned it again tonight (my poor girl)....last year everyone came to see Noah play.

Ciaaras last day of school is tomorrow, I can't believe it! I made a couple of gifts for her teachers.

I can't believe how much she has grown, her speech is so much better and she has really learned independence! She brought home an album today that he teacher made of her year and I cried.

Noah went on a field trip to the farm on Wednesday and got to milk a cow! He was thrilled!! He told me all about how a dairy works and what it was like to milk the cow, he even got to taste the milk. He also told me today that he made a card at school to send to the soldiers, He was beaming ear to ear with pride that a soldier would be reading his Thank You card.

We had a wonderful Memorial Weekend hanging out with new friends and going to a Twins Game!! We played games outside all of Sunday and had a wonderful BBQ. Monday was so fun watching the Twins kill Chicago 10 to 4.

Its Wednesday!! I can not believe it is Memorial Day this weekend! I've been thinking about updating all week but really I have nothing to say lol Nothing much going on in my world!

Noah was sick last week, Nate was sick last week, We had to take Ciaara to the doctor because

she got stung by something on the forehead and it swelled up bigger then a quarter! Argh...it was a busy busy week! Everything is back to normal this week!

Noah had his first T-ball game last night, we made it through one inning and it got rained out! He was really bummed out! Here is a picture of our T-ball guy.

We set up our Badmiton net this weekend and I wanted out of bounds lines otherwise there is always an agurement on whether its in or not (we are all competitive here) soo I came up with the idea of spray painting the lines (we will mow the paint off)--it turned out great!

I can't think of nothing else to report, I wish I had some scrapping pages to show off but honestly I haven't been scrapping!! I have all these new stamps sitting here waiting to be used and I just have no mojo--can anyone send me some?

Happy Mother's Day!

I had a wonderful day. I slept in until about 10:00!! lol I never sleep

that late but we were up until 3:30 am playing poker with friends.

I woke up and the kids were sooo excited for me to open their gifts...

They got me a movie and they each picked me out a pair of cute socks

(I LOVE LOVE socks lol) I also got 2 sets of acrylic stamps I really really

wanted. Nate knew I wanted them and said I could either go out to supper

at Applebees or get my stamps-- I of course picked my stamps. I still

had a wonderful supper here that he BBQ'ed for me.

We played outside a little today with the kids and I got lots of love

and cuddles from them.. I couldn't have asked for a nicer day.

I hope all of you had a wonderful day too, Happy Mother's Day to you all!

Doodling? I am a natural doodler, so much so that my step dad has called me "Doodle" since I as a teenager. Any paper that was left on the table or anywhere in my reach would have my doodling all over it.

Why can't I doodle on a scrapbook page? I guess its fear lol I like my pages to be clean and perfect and doodling on them scares me, what if I goof it up?

Well I took a little of the fear out of it and used a Doodle Genie (template) and doodled on this page! I LOVE the result!!

T-ball starts for Noah this week, just another thing to add to our week! lol We will have T-ball on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Soccer on Thursdays and Saturdays. BUSY BUSY!
